One of 15 impressions printed in 1937 by the artist.  An edition of 60, plus 18 proofs was published by Associated American Artists in a portfolio of 8 prints in 1982.  Very scarce as such.
Signed and titled in pencil.

A beautiful dark impression of one of the artist’s most attractive early prints.  The tonalities of black ink in this early impression are modulated and attractive.  Impressions for the AAA publication are far more contrasted, a bit too starkly, in our opinion.
